As Marvel Studios' film empire (and dominance) grows, more and more resources are being used to ensure new superhero films are as realistic as possible.
In an interview with Popular Mechanics, CalTech physics research associate Sean Carroll has confirmed a Doctor Strange movie is currently being worked on.
Author David Kushner wrote the following in his article:
"Now that Carroll's done with Thor, he's moved on to Doctor Strange, about a surgeon who becomes earth's Sorcerer Supreme. Carroll's job is to apply limits to Strange's powers. 'You need constraints to provide tension,' [Carroll] says. A world where anything can happen makes for a very boring movie. It's when science imposes boundaries on what a superhero can do that the real drama begins."
This Popular Mechanics article may be the only confirmed report saying this film is in some form of pre-production currently.
