The Avengers has done so many things right but what isn't being talked about are several things they didn't do right in the film. Spoiler alert! Please stop reading if you haven't seen the film but in all honestly if you haven't seen it yet, what's wrong with you?

The two issues in The Avengers could also be considered nit-picking. With all the positive press and online articles about the movie, it's time to look at some bad.

First issue is when the S.H.I.E.L.D. helicarrier is attacked by Hawkeye and the other brainwashed soldiers doing Loki's bidding. In this sequence, The Avengers are gathered in Tony Stark and Bruce Banner's laboratory talking about how Nick Fury was making weapons which were to be powered by the Tesseract.

The ground beneath the group explodes, in the attack, and both the Black Widow and Banner fall. After hitting the ground, Banner is seen freaking out and becomes the Incredible Hulk. The problem here is later in the film, Banner says his secret to keeping the Hulk under control is that he is always angry, then let's himself change into the Green Goliath seamlessly.

Big question mark here, unless Banner didn't really have the Hulk under control until after his helicarrier breakout and if he really did have the Hulk under control then he wouldn't have transformed and torn up the helicarrier.

The other issue in The Avengers occurs in the mid-credits scene with The Other—who is said to be the leader of the Chitauri army Loki uses to attack Earth—and Thanos. If The Other is really Chitauri, then why is he still alive?

When Iron Man takes the nuclear missile into space and destroys the Chitauri mothership with it, all of the Chitauri soliders are disconnected from the mothership's control and fall over. Why didn't this happen with The Other? Is he not a Chitauri?

Best guess is he is not a Chitauri, but that is not made clear.

Obviously, this is just a little devil's advocate with two minor issues in what was a great overall film but these are two issues that have been somewhat eating away at this journalist after seeing the movie twice.

Are there any other issues you had with The Avengers? If so, definitely list them in the comment section below.
