DEBUNKED? Thor: The Dark World Rumor About Dark Elves Being in the Film

One of the problems with the Internet is too many people can "create" their own news with sites like Blogger and Word Press allowing for the creation of a new blog or website. But this doesn't means these rumors and opinions aren't great discussion topics.

However, some websites go too far and will report information as fact when we all should know by now if a studio hasn't confirmed it or it isn't document with some kind of visual evidence like a photo or video, then everyone should take it with a grain of salt.

This brings us to our point in that it's hard to know who might be making stuff up. Over on a highly unknown website called I Review Too, they claimed to have spoken with one of the stunt people from Thor: The Dark World.

"The other day for example, this is quite random but I was working on Thor 2,” this stunt person named James Grogan said to I Review Too, “I had a load of stunt guys in and the director came in and he said ‘Look, we want you all to be elves,’ and I was like ‘What the hell is an elf anyway?’ and he said ‘I want you all to walk around like these supernatural animals,’ honestly it was the most ridiculous thing ever but you just have to not be self aware and get on with it."

We cannot really say if this website did or did not speak with Grogan but when we went over to IMDb.com to see if Grogan is really working on Thor: The Dark World there was no listing of him being a part of this film. Now if he has indeed begun work on the Thor sequel, IMDb is a highly credible source when it comes to making sure it is up-to-date with filmography listing of actors, directors, stunt people, etc.

Maybe IMDb hasn't updated yet. Maybe Grogan really is in this sequel doing stunts. Whatever the case is and since this is a website we have never hear dof before, we have to classify this rumor as being DEBUNKED until more info is made available and even though I Review Too does have some good ideas if this rumor is indeed true.

We have to trust IMDb's database on this and for right now though.
