After The Dark Knight Rises hit theaters, we here at The Daily SuperHero had an opinion about the future of the franchise. It said Warner Bros. and DC should wait and re-introduce Batman in the Justice League of America movie and then give him his next solo movie after the ensemble movie.
Seems our opinion could become reality as our one of our sources in Hollywood has told us Warner is actually considering this type of move for the future of the Batman franchise. This would also help them create a unified DC cinematic universe as Marvel Studios has already accomplished.
The Daily SuperHero isn't the only source hearing about this news and one of the editors over at Cosmic Book News has also been told something similar including how the next Batman movie could be coming out in 2016 and "it will not be an origin story but will feature a Batman who is entering his second year as a hero."
The next set of questions is obviously who would play Bruce Wayne/ Batman next and who would direct another Batman flick after Christopher Nolan took the franchise to new heights the past decade?
These answers will come in time so stay tuned to The Daily SuperHero as more information is available.
