Daredevil Reboot Unlikely, Marvel to Welcome Home Hornhead in October

First rumors said Marvel Studios and 20th Century Fox were in talks so Fox could extend the rights on its Daredevil property which is licensed for use from the comic book company. Fox wanted an extension on Daredevil to reboot it, Marvel wanted the rights to the Silver Surfer and Galactus in exchange. Then this rumor was debunked saying Fox valued all their Fantastic Four properties, of which the Silver Surfer and Galactus are a part of, more so than Daredevil and would let Hornhead revert back to Marvel.

Director Joe Carnahan, who proposed a reboot idea to Fox based off of the Born Again story from the comics, has pretty much confirmed his Daredevil reboot will not get a chance to be made, via his Twitter account.

Barring some kind of miracle or maybe another character exchange deal, between Marvel and Fox, but it seems destined Daredevil will go back home sometime in October when the licensing rights officially run out for Fox.
