THOR: THE DARK WORLD and AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. to Crossover in 'The Well' Episode on November 19

Marvel's Agents of SHIELD has been a mixed bag of good and bad according to many fans on social media and online. Some fans like some episodes and not others while other fans seem to like the overall show, in a general sense. While the show is definitely not bad, it has its moments where it could be better but it is also a brand new television show and is still trying to find its legs.

However, the moment many Marvel fans have been waiting (hoping) for is finally arriving on November 19 when Marvel's TV show and one of its movies crossover. That's right, Agents of SHIELD will be picking up the pieces after the events in Thor: The Dark World.

Officially announced on Marvel's website yesterday, Agent Coulson's team will look into what happened on Earth in the Thor sequel. Here's their official press release.

In the aftermath of the events chronicled in the feature film Marvel’s "Thor: The Dark World," Coulson and the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. pick up the pieces–one of which threatens to destroy a member of the team, on Tuesday, November 19 (8:00-9:01 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.
"Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." stars Clark Gregg as Agent Phil Coulson, Ming-Na Wen as Agent Melinda May, Brett Dalton as Agent Grant Ward, Chloe Bennet as Skye, Iain De Caestecker as Agent Leo Fitz and Elizabeth Henstridge as Agent Jemma Simmons.
Guest starring Peter MacNicol as Professor Elliot Randolph, Michael Graziadei as Jakob Nystrom, Erin Way as Petra Larsen, Toby Wilson as Neils, Alex Neustaedter as Maynard and Sylvia Brindis as Elena.
'The Well' was written by Monica Owusu-Breen and directed by Jonathan Frakes.

By the sounds of this, Coulson and his team will most likely be gathering up some Dark Elves technology and/or weaponry that was left behind after the battle in London (as seen between Thor and Malekith in the many trailers). Whether you like or dislike the show, and despite the fact Thor himself will not be showing up in the show unless movie footage is edited into it, this is one episode you'll need to tune in to after you see Thor: The Dark World in theaters.

This seems to be the start of how fans will see the TV show mingle with things that happen in the movie universe moving forward.
