This could imply several things. First being that there's some kind of big Hulk announcement coming at Comic-Con during Marvel's Hall H panel. New movie perhaps? Second being that Avengers: Age of Ultron will dominate the Comic-Con panel. Or it could be something else.
Ruffalo's newest remarks about the green rage monster, to IndieWire, reveal how the actor is focused on developing the inner relationship that Banner and Hulk have.
"And I've been finding this relationship between Banner and the Hulk and Hulk and Banner is equally compelling -- it's been explored in the comics, but never in the movies. It's always been Banner's relationship to this sort of lump, this unknowable very two-dimensional thing. But there's also something really interesting about Hulk's relationship with Banner. The only thing that scares Hulk is Banner. It's not some bigger, scarier, huger thing -- it's this frail man. And it terrifies him and it angers him. It's such an interesting relationship that no one has cracked. I feel like that would be an interesting place for us to go. That might hold people's attention."
Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige has mentioned how Bruce Banner's presence in any film is equally as important, if not more, than that of the Hulk. This seemingly confirms the need of both characters and their inner relationship with each other.
Hulk has an expanded role in Avengers: Age of Ultron and it seems like fans will get to know both Bruce Banner and the Hulk more than previously seen in movies. Avengers: Age of Ultron releases in theaters on May 1, 2015.
