The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is now available for digital download and will hit stores shelves on August 19. Sony and Target have just released a promotional video for its release titled, "Setting up the Sinister Six."
This video is obviously doing some double-duty as a means to promote The Amazing Spider-Man 2 but to also begin teasing Sony's next Spider-Man movie universe film, Sinister Six.
All the villains shown are from both Sam Raimi's Spider-Man Trilogy and Marc Webb's The Amazing Spider-Man franchise. If you list all the villains shown in the vid they are: Electro, Venom, Sandman, Green Goblin, Lizard, Doc Oct and Rhino. That's seven villains so we are already one guy over the limit; plus there was a Vulture Easter Egg in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 so he has to be in consideration for a spot on the Sinister Six team too.
