Marvel and Netflix's Daredevil series is currently filming in New York City. Meanwhile, fans are still waiting to see the first official reveal of the Daredevil costume.
The series' showrunner, Steve DeKnight, took to Twitter to answer some fan questions about the new series. DeKnight confirmed more violence than Marvel's Agent of SHIELD television series on ABC and that there will be some blood too.
Less than Spartacus, more than SHIELD. RT @TimLydon0: What are you allowed to show on @Daredevil in terms of violence, swearing, etc?

There will be blood. RT @haxelerator: Love your work, can't wait to see what you'll do with my favorite superhero this May!

Having Daredevil on Netflix should lead to a bit more edginess, violence, riskier language and some blood. While this all sounds like Daredevil will be an R-rated series, it's probably more logical to think it will be a hard PG-13-like rated series so a larger viewing audience will watch it.
Daredevil begins streaming on Netflix in May 2015.
