An OBI-WAN KENOBI STAR WARS Trilogy? Let's Get Him His First Spin-Off Movie... First



Star Wars fans are getting Episode VII, VIII and IX as well as three spin-off movies releasing in between each Episode film release. None of the spin-off films have been confirmed and they've only been rumored to be either Yoda, Boba Fett, Han Solo, Red Squadron or Obi-Wan Kenobi.

And even before confirming one of the spin-off movies, there's already another rumor stating that Kenobi will not only get his own spin-off movie but he will get his own Star Wars Trilogy of spin-offs.

Cinelinx.com reports:

"First up,... a trilogy of Obi-Wan movies. I need to stress that these movies are not connected. They aren't part of a story arc but 3 separate Obi-Wan adventures set between Episodes III and IV.
"One set completely on Tatooine and two where Obi-Wan travels elsewhere in the Galaxy.

"Qui-Gon Jinn is very much present in these stories. So too is Owen Lars. Several characters from the Clone Wars T.V. show would make an appearance. There would be flashbacks to Obi-Wan fighting in the Clone Wars."

I don't like to be the downer when it comes to any website's scoops or reports — especially a site I've never heard of before because every website starts from nothing — but I need to state the obvious. And that is... can we get a solo, spin-off Kenobi movie confirmed first?!

Actor Ewan McGregor has allegedly said that he would love to reprise his role as Kenobi, and since he was the best part of the Star Wars Prequel Trilogy I'd love nothing more to see him wield a lightsaber once more. But three more times? Let's me say it again... let's get him a green light on his first solo movie... first.
