GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY Blu Ray & DVD Exclusive Look at AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON: Why You Shouldn't Get Too Excited

It's human nature to get excited about the news of how the home release of Guardians of the Galaxy (on Blu Ray and DVD) will include an 'exclusive look' at Avengers: Age of Ultron. But that same excitement level needs to be based in logic when you look at recent Marvel Studios home releases.

When Iron Man 3 hit store shelves last year, there was an 'exclusive look' at Thor: The Dark World. This was literally a few minutes long and revealed nothing new. Then, when Thor: The Dark World hit store shelves there was an 'exclusive look' at Captain America: The Winter Soldier which was also several minutes long and revealed nothing new.

In other words, don't get too excited about the 'exclusive Avengers: Age of Ultron look' included on both the Blu Ray and DVD releases of Guardians of the Galaxy. It's a sad, sad truth unless Marvel Studios decides to change up these 'exclusive look' features.

Finally, no word on if a Marvel One-Shot short film will be attached to the Guardians of the Galaxy Blu Ray release at the time this post was published. Fingers crossed, since Marvel did not have one included with Captain America: The Winter Soldier, which was a huge letdown for fans everywhere.

Guardians of the Galaxy will be available for digital HD download on November 18 and available in stores December 9.
