Ryan Gosling is Finally Ready For a Franchise Role and it Could Be DOCTOR STRANGE or SUICIDE SQUAD

Usually when a person hits that 30-year-old point of his or her life, most start thinking about their future or their family's future. This is not confirming that actor Ryan Gosling has had a change of tune due to his newborn baby but the new family addition for himself and Eva Mendes last month probably helped.

For years Gosling has spoke to the media about how he isn't a fan of sequels or franchise roles but now he seems ready to take on both. According to The Hollywood Reporter, he has met with Marvel Studios for the leading role in Doctor Strange and he is also being sought after by Warner Bros. for their DC movie, Suicide Squad. Gosling has his pick of franchise roles rolling in and he is only 33 so a long term commitment to either Doctor Strange or Suicide Squad is ideal for either studio.

His name is added to the short long list of of actors Marvel desires for Doctor Strange including: Ewan McGregor, Matthew McConaughey, Jared Leto, Oscar Isaac, Jake Gyllenhaal, Ethan Hawke and possibly now Keanu Reeves.  For Suicide Squad, it's reported that Warner is not only looking at Gosling for a role in the ensemble movie but they are targeting Will Smith, Tom Hardy and Margot Robbie.

How long until Gosling signs on the dotted line for his first franchise role? Apparently, he's got the studio interest already so his choice should come sooner than later.
