Coincidence or Trolling? Did Hugh Jackman Just Tease a WOLVERINE Cameo in DEADPOOL? Or is it the End?
Earlier this month, actor Hugh Jackman mentioned how he would be open to a cameo in Deadpool. This shouldn't be a surprise to anyone since Wolverine and Deadpool have such a love-hate relationship in the comic book universe.
Deadpool leading actor Ryan Reynolds did work side-by-side with Jackman in X-Men Origins: Wolverine and while X-Men Days of Future Past pretty much wrote that solo Wolverine movie out of existence with its time travel plot, getting Wolverine on screen with a better portrayal of Deadpool is a must. Especially if director Tim Miller wants to really appease Deadpool fans everywhere.
Well, it seems like Jackman might have just teased that cameo. (Maybe. Probably not. Maybe.)
Most fans will look at the "ONE LAST TIME" part and overreact by thinking Jackman's time as Wolverine might be ending soon. If this was the case then why, last month, did the actor say he wants to be Wolverine for as long as possible? And he's not referring to The Wolverine sequel starting to film right now because that doesn't start until early 2016, as confirmed by its director James Mangold.
Regardless, cue the fan freakout about it. Honestly, at the age of 46, Jackman isn't getting younger and a recast is happening sooner than later.
All freakouts asides, Jackman might have, instead, hinted that he is getting ready for a Wolverine cameo in Deadpool. By the way, it is filming in Vancouver right now.
Or maybe he is appearing in X-Men: Apocalypse, which is reportedly set to start filming in the coming month or two. Or maybe this has nothing to do with any movie and he's just trolling fans on social media for the heck of it.
Whatever the case it is all speculation and guesses.
