SCARLET WITCH is Just Tapping into Her Powers in AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON


Based on the Avengers: Age of Ultron trailers, it can be assumed that Wanda Maximoff ... er ... Scarlet Witch will be playing inside of the Hulk's head causing him to go crazy which executes the Hulkbuster protocol plan. In a new interview with Captain America actor Chris Evans, via Collider, she will also play inside the minds of more than just the Hulk.

"Scarlet Which has a way of getting in your head. That’s her ability so each one is kind of confronted with their own personal issues and demons and that kind of creates personal struggles as well as conflicts for the team. So, I don’t wanna dive too deeply into each person’s individual conflict but it’s tense."

Scarlet Witch may get into several minds in Age of Ultron, but that doesn't mean she has total control of her powers. Hawkeye actor Jeremy Renner explains, via another interview with Collider.

"...Scarlet Witch you’ll find that her abilities are just being tapped into in this movie and what they can become, she’s still learning what they are, which is really cool."

The extent of Scarlet Witch's powers have yet to be fully revealed but the best summary of her abilities in Age of Ultron were explained by writer/director Joss Whedon nearly two years ago while he was on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.

"[Scarlet Witch] can weave spells and a little telekinesis, get inside your head."




Avengers: Age of Ultron releases in theaters on May 1, 2015.
