Director David Ayer is going to be moving from the pre-production stage to full blown production and filming with Suicide Squad in just about a month. Filming in scheduled in Toronto for approximately five months.
As of right now the main actor list consists of the following: Will Smith as Deadshot, Jared Leto as Joker, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flagg, Jai Courtney as Boomerang, Cara Delevingne as Enchantress and Viola Davis as Amanda Waller.
Now, another highly popular character (due to the television series Arrow) could be making his pre-villain appearance. It seems like Deathstroke will be appearing in Suicide Squad before he becomes the villain.
According to Latino-Review his introduction in Suicide Squad is 'insane.'
"Deathstroke has THE breakout & choicest role in the film. The running gun battle that sources are describing is something else. His suit is very stealth oriented. They used an actual US military tactical outfit for the basis. He's armed to the teeth, uses a sword and automatics. In concept artwork he has two eyes. The mask is there and it's the iconic one."
The website also reports that actor Joe Manganiello (True Blood) is rumored to be up for the role of Deathstroke, although nothing has been confirmed as of the publishing of this post.
Suicide Squad is releasing in theaters on August 5, 2016.
