Over the last few days, there have been some new reveals for DEADPOOL. A Bea Arthur reference, new characters have been officially revealed, a giant motion capture actor was seen on set, a Colossus head prop was shown and a few fan posters all need to be shared. So let's get into these DEADPOOL tidbits.
First up if you're not familiar with Deadpool in the comics there is a running joke about his obsession with Bea Arthur from The Golden Girls and Ryan Reynolds says his swords have been named for her.
The Katanas are named Bea and Arthur. Bea is a dedicated performer and a joy to work with. Arthur's grumpy-wumpy. https://t.co/2GIR8KCV6l

Next, Reynolds officially revealed that actor Brianna Hildebrand will be the character Negasonic Teenage Warhead. If you're not familiar with this character, she is a mutant who has telepathy and a precognitive sense to see into the future. To read more about her, click here.

Another new character revealed in DEADPOOL is from Ed Skrein who is playing the villain Ajax. If you're not familiar with Ajax, he too is a mutant who was associated with the Weapon X program and he has been enhanced with super strength, speed and agility as well as had his nerve endings removed so he cannot feel pain. A giant actor wearing a motion capture suit was seen on set and since Colossus was already confirmed to be in DEADPOOL — although a new actor will be cast in the role — it's safe to assume this is the pre-CG version of the mutant. Plus, check out what looks like a Colossus head prop which was seen on location and used for reference while filming.
