CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR - Story Rumors Being Heard Right Now


Sometimes it's tough to decide what information that is received privately is truth or fiction. And sometimes it's even tougher to decide if info is too spoiler-y to even publish. Then, other times, info is too juicy to not share and this is one of those times.

I was sent some info about plot points for CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR from one of my insiders. Please note, this is a reminder to let everyone know Marvel Studios is very fluid during its production process. Things can and do change in the script during filming and in post-production.

Here is a SPOILER ALERT, but I'm also not revealing anything too spoiler-y so I don't get an email or phone call or a knock on my front door from Marvel's lawyers. Continue reading, if you dare, after the image.





  • After AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON set up the fact that more vibranium exists in the Marvel Cinematic Universe than previously thought, Civil War will also have vibranium in it. This will help lead to the introduction of Black Panther and it will also help to set up the BLACK PANTHER movie.
  • War Machine and Falcon will have a fun relationship and some witty banter since they are both military men who have now become friends.
  • Spider-Man is still rumored to be making his first appearance in the MCU and he might be wearing a homemade suit that closely resembles the look of the Scarlet Spider suit in the comic book universe.
  • Crossbones will team-up with Baron Zemo for some destruction and manipulation of the heroes.
  • Winter Soldier will play a big role that is considered a catalyst for the events in the film.
  • Captain America, Falcon and Scarlet Witch are all opposed to the Registration Act. (There may be others but these were the three names told to me.)

Remember these things might change during the production process but nevertheless this is the first info I've heard about Civil War and felt like sharing the non-spoiler stuff. So take these bits of info as you will.
