For those who are not comic book fans, the book Alias was the one that introduced Jessica Jones into the Marvel comic universe. Since Netflix revealed it would have a Jessica Jones series the title AKA JESSICA JONES has been used for it.
Until now.
Netflix has suddenly changed the title placeholder on their page for the series. Previously it has always been AKA JESSICA JONES but now it's dropped the AKA part.
Marvel and Netflix have yet to confirm this series title change, as of the publishing of this post, but it's safe to assume if Netflix has already made the change then the series will simply be titled JESSICA JONES.
JESSICA JONES releases sometime in fall or early winter 2015.
