"Never Say Never" is Marvel Studios' Current Stance on SPIDER-MAN Appearing in Netflix's DAREDEVIL Series
"Never say never" is what Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige teased when BirthDeathMovies asked if SPIDER-MAN could ever appear in Season 2 of DAREDEVIL.
He followed that up by saying...
"But our current Sony deal is very specific - we’re producing the standalone film, with a certain amount of back and forth allowed."
That last part of the quote is kind of telling because it has already been confirmed Marvel Studios can use Spider-Man in any of their movies (cough, cough... Civil War... cough) and Sony Pictures can use any of Marvel Studios' heroes in their Spider-Man movie. Although Marvel controls who can show up in solo SPIDER-MAN movies because Sony is just financing and distributing the film while Marvel is producing it.
Ever since their early beginnings, in the 1960s, Spider-Man and Daredevil have been co-starring in each other's comic books so having a guest appearance or cameo by Spidey in DAREDEVIL Season 2 would just make sense. Especially since The Punisher will be heavily featured in DAREDEVIL and his comic book debut was in the pages of The Amazing Spider-Man comic book. Because of all of this it'll definitely seem like "It's all connected" if Spidey does make an appearance.
