ANT-MAN Opens With $58 Million in the U.S. and is Marvel Studios' 12th Consecutive No. 1 Opening Weekend Movie Release
It may not have opened to $100 million in the U.S. but Marvel Studios' ANT-MAN marks their 12th consecutive No. 1 opening weekend film release. The movie projected to open to $55-$60 million and it did just that, opening to an approximate $58 million for its opening weekend. ANT-MAN also brought in over $56 million Internationally for a total weekend tally of $114 million worldwide.
With a production budget reportedly of $130 million, ANT-MAN is Marvel Studios' smallest budgeted movie of all their 12 films.

ANT-MAN is Marvel Studios' second lowest opening weekend behind THE INCREDIBLE HULK, which opened to $55 million.
