D23 Expo 2015: Speculating Marvel's Reveals For CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR; Maybe SPIDER-MAN and DOCTOR STRANGE Too



Two weeks from today Disney's D23 Expo begins and The Daily SuperHero has been granted press access to (hopefully) give you the best coverage possible! It is known that Disney is bringing Marvel Studios to the event who will bring CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR to the big movie presentation on Saturday August 15.

What will Marvel Studios be bringing with them for CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR?

Let's speculate!

  • Some footage might be shown for Civil War. Maybe a clip of a scene from the upcoming movie or maybe a montage of some footage.
  • A reveal of concept art for Civil War.
  • Actor Tom Holland might be officially introduced to the crowd as SPIDER-MAN.
  • First look at the first appearance SPIDER-MAN suit in Civil War could be revealed.
  • Maybe a first look at BLACK PANTHER in Civil War.

But what else could Marvel Studios surprise the D23 crowd with? (There has to be a surprise or two, right?!)

  • Actor Benedict Cumberbatch could be officially introduced to the crowd as DOCTOR STRANGE.
  • First look of Cumberbatch as DOCTOR STRANGE in concept art form. (Marvel recently showed DOCTOR STRANGE concept art at CineEuorpe in June, so this reveal is coming soon.)
  • Official casting announcements for DOCTOR STRANGE. There's been rumors and reports of other actors being cast but the studio has not confirmed any of it outside of Cumberbatch.

With DOCTOR STRANGE prepping for production and filming in the U.K. in November, it makes sense to perhaps reveal some surprises for the new addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
