The Star Wars Expanded Universe may not be a part of official story canon anymore but that hasn't weakened the fan base's love for Darth Revan. First appearing in the video game Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, Revan has steadily become one of the most popular Star Wars characters since his introduction in 2003.
Heck, he is so popular it even looks like writer/director J.J. Abrams adapted Revan's look into becoming the basis for the look of Kylo Ren in STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS.
After a few weeks voting across various websites to determine the finalists, StarWars.com has unleashed its official fan voting poll to decide which character will be made into a new 6-inch Black Series action figure.
The finalists are:
- Darth Revan (Knights of the Old Republic)
- Obi-Wan Kenobi (A New Hope)
- Lando Calrissian (Empire Strikes Back)
- Sabine Wren (Star Wars: Rebels)
- Gamorrean Guard (Return of the Jedi)
- Snowtrooper (Empire Strikes Back)
- General Grievous (Revenge of the Sith)
The below screenshot of the current results shows that Darth Revan is way in the lead and he will most likely win this fan figure poll without a challenge when its announce during Hasbro's Star Wars San Diego Comic-Con 2015 panel on July 10.
