FANTASTIC FOUR: The Release of the Reboot is No Longer Happening in 3D

It honestly seems like the FANTASTIC FOUR reboot just can't catch a break. Whether it's alleged issues during production, budget delays or a negative fan reaction to Thing not wearing pants this movie keeps making headlines for all the wrong reasons. Maybe if there was any positive buzz surrounding the film all the drama reports wouldn't matter, but there hasn't been much positivity felt on social media.

Maybe Fox plans to change this and sway fans into getting excited about it during their San Diego Comic-Con 2015 presentation.

But the next issue with this film is its 3D post-conversion now being officially canceled per Final Reel, who spoke with director Josh Trank.

"I want the viewing experience of Fantastic Four to remain as pure as possible for the audience, which means in 2D, just as we shot the movie."

Most movies get the post-conversion 3D process added after principle photography but not this time as it's been scrapped completely. So any fans who were looking forward to seeing FANTASTIC FOUR in 3D are now left with only seeing it in 2D.
