SDCC 2015: Villains and Allies Revealed For ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN VS. THE SINISTER SIX Animated Series

In 2016, fans of the ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN animated series on Disney XD will be getting something a bit new. Marvel Animation spoke at San Diego Comic-Con about their plans (via Nerdist) for upcoming series' including the series being rebranded ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN VS. THE SINISTER SIX.

This version of the Sinister Six will not be the same as the original villain team roster in the comics. The new Sinister Six team will feature: Beetle, Doc Ock, Electro, Kraven the Hunter, Lizard and Rhino.

Spider-Man will need some help fighting the villainous ensemble cast and fellow "Spider-Men" will assist him throughout the series. Spidey's allies will be Iron-Spider, Agent Venom and Miles Morales' Spider-Man. These were the only confirmation allies and there will surely be a few more.

One point to note is that it has not been confirmed if Spidey's allies (White Tiger, Nova, Luke Cage and Iron Fist) from the ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN series will be back for more action. It was also not confirmed if actor Donald Glover will reprise his role of voicing Morales. But it was confirmed that Mark Hamill will voice Armin Zola in ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN VS. THE SINISTER SIX.
