The other day there was a report about a slew of social media posts from fans who saw an early screening of FANTASTIC FOUR and all the reactions were extremely positive. In order to keep this post short and sweet, you can see those social media reactions here on SlashFilm or here on ComicBook.
So what was up with all those glaring fan reviews on social media?
One of The Daily SuperHero's own followers in the U.K. just saw it and had this to say on Twitter.
@DailySuperHero Just got out of seeing it, pretty mediocre.— Ciaràn (@WTFItsCiaran) August 4, 2015
@DailySuperHero the entire film feels like a buildup for something bigger than anything that happens. Like it's a buildup just for a sequel— Ciaràn (@WTFItsCiaran) August 4, 2015
The conspiracy theorist in me wants to say those who attended the early screening were friends and family of Fox employees. But that is definitely not confirmed and just my speculation. Regardless, it seems like something is fishy about that screening.
What you do think? Sound off in the comments below!
The Daily SuperHero will be attend its press screening on Wednesday night August 5 and will post its own review that evening or the following morning.
