This concept art will take every Star Wars fans' breath away not only because of it's scale but because it's absolutely gorgeous. Newly revealed by Entertainment Weekly are the above and below concept art pieces for the November 17 release of the STAR WARS: BATTLEFRONT video game.
In each of these pieces the Battle of Jakku is being teased which the remnants of this battle were also seen in the opening moments of the second STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS teaser.
The lead image was initially revealed at Disney's D23 Expo Interactive presentation earlier in August.

Regarding the new art, DICE concept artist Anton Grandert said the following about these Battle of Jakku pieces.
“We wanted to portray a battle completely surrounding you, in every direction. Debris is falling from the sky, telling the story of battles above. On the surface of the planet you can see ground troops as well as X-wings, all taking part of the fight. There’s a David and Goliath theme to this. The epic, huge super structures of the Star Destroyers contrast against the tiny but brave Rebel soldiers fighting the Imperial forces.”
Finally, Mathew Everett (Community Manager for EA's Star Wars Battlefront) tweeted out another fantastic piece of concept art for the game.
