STAR WARS EPISODE VIII Confirmed to Start Filming in Ireland This Month



Are you ready for the hype to begin for STAR WARS EPISODE VIII? Because it's been confirmed that scenes for the movie start filming in Ireland this month. (Yes, you read that correctly as it says 'this month.')

Entertainment Weekly has confirmed the following from Lucasfilm:

"Lucasfilm says reports that Star Wars: The Force Awakens would be regrouping for reshoots in Ireland this month are erroneous and that the actual plan is to begin shooting sequences from director Rian Johnson’s 2017 sequel Episode VIII. 
"The initial reports out of Ireland were that J.J. Abrams and company were returning to the island Skellig Michael off the southern coast of Ireland later this month for some additional photography."

Wow... STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS isn't even out yet and I'm already starting to get excited for Episode VIII. Well played Lucasfilm and Disney.
