One of the best scenes in ANT-MAN was when Falcon showed up and fought with Scott Lang. Falcon also made an appearance at the end of the movie while he was searching for Ant-Man. And it sounds like their fun encounter in ANT-MAN will carryover into CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR.
Actor Anthony Mackie spoke (via CinemaBlend) about the camaraderie between himself and Paul Rudd and how that'll show itself in Civil War.
"Yeah, our relationship is… yeah [laughs]. It grows in Civil War. But that’s Paul Rudd, man. Paul Rudd and I just make fun of each other all the time, so it just carries over into the movie. So I respect his royals – I’m pulling for his royals – but we just make fun of each other all the time."
Makes sense seeing as how Scott Lang is seemingly being promoted as the comedy relief in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which suits Rudd perfectly.
According to previously released Civil War promotional artwork, below, both Falcon and Ant-Man are on Team Captain America. CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR releases in theaters on May 6, 2016.
