A new rumor report has hit the web regarding Hulk's future in Phase 3 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This rumor comes from the website JoBlo, however, it needs to be clearly stated this rumor centers around THOR: RAGNAROK which is still over two years away from releasing.
In other words, much can and will change with its script. Just like how Captain Marvel was initially supposed to appear at the end of AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON but was cut out at some point during production. With THOR: RAGNAROK still deep into development, and not ready for filming until the second half of 2016, the script will change.
With that being said, the latest rumor claims actor Mark Ruffalo will appear as Bruce Banner and the Hulk in the third Thor movie. While no rumored screen time was also reported, it is being said that a third planet will be involved in Ragnarok. So cue up all those Planet Hulk rumors once again (Ugh).
Ragnarok is the Norse Apocalypse and if there's any hero who could really help Thor in battle it would be Hulk. Back in October 2014, when Marvel Studios announced their Phase 3 lineup, president Kevin Feige promised Hulk fans lots of Hulk in Phase 3 films since he didn't get his own solo movie (see post link below). And so regardless of if this rumor is fact or fiction, more Hulk is definitely a good thing.
THOR: RAGNAROK releases on November 3, 2017.
