STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS to Reportedly Show Both CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR and X-MEN: APOCALYPSE Trailers

Right now studios are feverishly trying to put together a trailer for their biggest upcoming movie(s) in order to get into a spot where it will show before STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS next month. It is seriously the hottest "get" in Hollywood right now for any movie studio who has a huge movie coming in 2016.

According to Collider, two of the trailer spots ahead of The Force Awakens are already taken. The website reports that one is for CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR and another is for X-MEN: APOCALYPSE. In fact, Apocalypse producer Simon Kinberg has confirmed his film will indeed have a trailer before Star Wars.

“I can in fact confirm that information. Our first trailer will be on Star Wars: The Force Awakens. It’s our first thing out there so it is somewhat of a teaser but it’s certainly longer than a minute and it has a ton of cool stuff in it.”

Having a trailer for Civil War makes sense because, just like Lucasfilm, Marvel Studios is another Disney company. And Kinberg works with Lucasfilm on Star Wars projects: STAR WARS: REBELS animated series and on an untitled 'A Star Wars Story' film (formerly called an Star Wars Anthology movie).

So as of right now, and if this report is to be believed, CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR and X-MEN: APOCALYPSE will have trailers ahead of STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS.

UPDATE: According to a new photo, click here to see it, X-MEN: APOCALYPSE is not attached to The Force Awakens.
