BLACK PANTHER Will be a "Geo-Political Action Adventure" that Links to AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR

Black Panther is making his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut in this summer's CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR. Actor Chadwick Boseman is playing the world's first African comic book super hero and his turn in a leading movie role is coming when BLACK PANTHER releases on February 16, 2018.

While speaking with Empire Magazine (via CBM), Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige shared some interesting information about the BLACK PANTHER movie, including: what kind of movie it'll be and that it will link to AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR.

"This one is important. Not only do you get an unbelievable lead character, but you also get all of Wakanda which is a whole new setting and culture to explore.
"It's a big geo-political action adventure that focuses on the family and royal struggle of T'Challa in Wakanda, and what is means to be a king. T'Challa's story is very important to us as it links to the next Avengers films, which is why we brought it forward.”
