Last summer at E3, South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone shocked attendees by officially announcing a new South Park video game was coming called SOUTH PARK: THE FRACTURED BUT WHOLE. The beginning of the announcement trailer (watch it below) implied the new game would be a direct follow-up to the SOUTH PARK: THE STICK OF TRUTH and while it kind of is, it isn't. This new game will be a full blown, and highly mature, super hero adventure.
The Daily SuperHero will be covering the developing news for this new game, since it has a focus on super heroes, and here are a few images released for the new game on its official website.
[Please note: These images and its synopsis may have been released a while ago, but it's a fun update that hasn't been covered here yet.]
Here's the official synopsis:
"In South Park: The Fractured but Whole, players will delve into the crime-ridden underbelly of South Park with Coon and Friends. This dedicated group of crime fighters was formed by Eric Cartman whose superhero alter-ego, The Coon, is half man, half raccoon. As the New Kid, players will join Mysterion, Toolshed, Human Kite, Mosquito, Mint Berry Crunch and a host of others to battle the forces of evil while Coon strives to make his team the most beloved superheroes in history."
The SOUTH PARK: THE FRACTURED BUT WHOLE release date has yet to be confirmed.
