Tom Holland is the latest actor to play Peter Parker and Spider-Man but this time in the cohesive Marvel Cinematic Universe in a co-producing deal between Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures that isn't usually the norm between competing studios. This is due to the fact that Sony's botched attempt at rebooting the webslinger in the Amazing Spider-Man movie franchise wasn't a critical hit and did not hit lofty box office goals Sony set for the reboot.
Holland will first appear, and be introduced, in the MCU in this summer's CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR. While the first look at the actor in costume as Parker or Spidey has yet to be officially revealed, producer Louis D'Esposito shared a behind the scenes photo of himself and Holland in a Quinjet set for Civil War.
