Fox's DEADPOOL Movie Twitter Account Loves Hello Kitty but the Feeling is Not Mutual

Exclusive: If you're on Twitter and you follow the account for Fox's DEADPOOL movie as well as lead actor Ryan Reynolds, you might have noticed that the Merc With a Mouth's movie and actor have been randomly tagging the Hello Kitty account on many of their DEADPOOL movie tweets.

In fact, the only Twitter account the DEADPOOL movie handle follows is the Hello Kitty account.

So The Daily SuperHero decided to reach out to company who owns Hello Kitty, Sanrio, and they had no comment being associated with DEADPOOL or Fox's marketing for the film. The following was Sanrio's response to The Daily SuperHero's request to comment:

"Unfortunately, Sanrio is unable to grant your request at this time. Sanrio currently maintains contractual relationships with several different licensees for the creation and promotion of our products. In order to protect Sanrio's brand image and dedication to provide great products to our customers, Sanrio undergoes an extensive approval process to ensure their products and services meet our standards. Thus we are simply unable to grant unaffiliated third parties to use our intellectual property at this time. Sanrio sincerely appreciates your interest in our character(s) and for respecting our intellectual property rights."

So what does this mean? It sounds like a programmed response from a bot. But it also remains to be seen is this is all part of a marketing campaign of some sort. But this response does read like Sanrio and Hello Kitty are not as much of a fan of Deadpool as he is of theirs. Although quick speculation leads to a possible Deadpool / Hello Kitty moment in the movie... maybe... but probably not.
