The Daily SuperHero is Looking For a Retro Super Hero Movie Reviewer

In 2015, The Daily SuperHero took some really big steps forward in growth. The biggest was the inclusion of full press access to some of the U.S.'s biggest conventions and expos (SDCC, NYCC, D23) as well as the addition of several beat writers covering connected universe super hero television shows.

In 2016, there will be more growth and content expansion. One such advance in content is with the addition of a new position. This new writing gig will review retro super hero films.

From 1966's BATMAN: THE MOVIE to 1978's SUPERMAN to 1989's THE PUNISHER to 1998's BLADE to 2002's SPIDER-MAN... there are plenty of retro super hero films to sit back and watch for the first time or the 100th time.

This new Retro Movie Reviewer position has two requirements: (1.) To watch a retro super hero movie and write a review ready for publishing twice each month, specifically every other week, for a period of 12 months. And (2.) no movies will be reviewed from 2005 to present day. (A list of retro super hero movies can be found here.)

If you have experience writing and reviewing films, that's obviously a plus. So please email The Daily SuperHero any past review links, a short writing history bio as well as a short pitch as to why you'd be a good choice and what would make your retro review unique, fun and entertaining as well as informative.

Yes this position is unpaid, but you are only required to write two posts per month. Signing a 1-year contract for this position is also required.

Please email if you're interested in this RETRO MOVIE REVIEWER position: thedailysuperhero@gmail.com

The cutoff date for email applications is Friday February 5 at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time.

Good luck!
