About That Second DEADPOOL Credits Scene ***SPOILER***

***This post contains a big spoiler for DEADPOOL. You've been warned.***

DEADPOOL is finally out in theater and the majority of fans and critics really seem to love it. So much so that Fox has already green lit DEADPOOL 2 and brought back screenwriters Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, who are reportedly already hard at work writing it.

If you stayed through the credits, you probably saw both post credits scenes. But if for some reason you did not, then here's a brief breakdown of what you missed.

Both scenes really act as one with Deadpool doing his best impression of Ferris Bueller's Day Off by coming out from around a corner into a hallway wearing a rope to break the fourth wall and talk to the audience. He's confused and doesn't understand why the audience is still in the theater because the movie has ended and says there's no sequel tease and Sam Jackson isn't coming out from the shadows wearing an eyepatch. Obviously, in typical Deadpool fashion, he is trolling Marvel Studios because they made the post credits scene(s) concept popular starting with IRON MAN.

After he tells the audience to go away, he comes back to inform them there will be a sequel and the comic book time-traveling mutant Cable will be in it. Deadpool said it is unknown which actor will play the Marvel character who has shared a comic book title with the Merc With a Mouth, but he jokingly suggested that Mel Gibson, Dolph Lundgren, or Keira Knightley could play the role.

So there's your official confirmation for DEADPOOL 2 and that Cable will be in it, too, courtesy of Deadpool himself.
