X-MEN: APOCALYPSE Put Fox's X-FORCE Movie on Hold But DEADPOOL Could Help it Get Green Lit

Here's a little piece of information from summer 2014, so here's a quick news flashback!

In a recent post on ScreenRant, info has been brought back up and it looks like when X-MEN: APOCALYPSE was officially green lit it put Fox's development on X-FORCE on a hiatus. Reason being is that Apocalypse was allegedly written in Jeff Wadlow's X-FORCE script and including the villain into the X-Men movie was the biggest issue.

Please note that there has not been any real hard confirmation about this from Fox. But back in summer 2014 X-Force creator Rob Liefeld took to social media to say that X-MEN: APOCALYPSE changed everything with a hopeful X-FORCE movie and he stated how it's a coin toss if the movie would get made any time soon.

Fast-forward nearly two years later to today, and there's legit hype building around a hopeful X-FORCE movie now that DEADPOOL is set to make bank in the box office this weekend; and its sequel has been green lit and is already being written.

DEADPOOL has had a large role in multiple X-Force comic books so including him in a possible movie just makes sense. Add to this the fact that actor Ryan Reynolds recently said he wants to make X-FORCE a priority of his after implying more DEADPOOL movies were coming.

This all seems kind of inevitable when the box office success of DEADPOOL could (and should) lead to an eventual X-FORCE movie. In fact, and this is re-iterating what The Daily SuperHero proposed yesterday, DEADPOOL 2 could in fact help set-up an X-FORCE movie.
