Back in January word hit the web that actor Amber Heard was in the running for the role of Mera in JUSTICE LEAGUE, and in AQUAMAN too. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Heard confirmed she is indeed Mera and teased her costume a little bit.
“It’s interesting. It’s like, half suit of armor, half scales. It’s strange… We’re in the process of building it now, so it’s coming along.”
JUSTICE LEAGUE is directed by Zack Snyder, begins filming next month and releases on November 17, 2017. AQUAMAN will be directed by James Wan and releases on July 27, 2018.
