Even 'The Force Awakens' Actor John Boyega Wants a STAR WARS: BATTLEFRONT Full Story Mode From EA

Before STAR WARS: BATTLEFRONT released last November, I had a chance to play it at Disney's D23 Expo last summer. I only experienced one of its survival campaigns in that demo, but it was exciting and looked beautiful at that time. Then the game released, and I, like many of you, was completely letdown with the game since it didn't have any story campaign or more single player options and it's best missions were all online forcing you to pay to play them. Boo!

Overall, at least for me, it was a devastating experience because I played the older Battlefront games when they came out... a lot. And in this new version, I can only play the same missions, survival modes and its other highly repetitive gameplay options so many times until I became bored of it. In fact, I sold my copy within two weeks of its release because I had no desire to continue playing the same thing over and over again.

There's been lots of fan outcry for more single player options and a full story narrative. EA has most definitely heard these calls, but whether they'll actually do it still remains to be seen. Maybe at E3 2016, this June, EA will announce more single player options and a narrative mode. Or maybe they won't.

However, it's now become a much bigger issue for EA as STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS star John Boyega has took to Twitter asking for the same from EA.

EA even responded...

Maybe EA will listen or maybe they'll wait until a sequel to include more single player options and a full story, but the fact remains that STAR WARS: BATTLEFRONT is not enough for a fanbase who expected much, much more from the rebirth of this video game franchise.

And if you don't believe that fans aren't happy with this game, all you have to do it look at the Amazon reviews. Here's a screenshot of them.

Those scores aren't great when you compare them to the older Battlefront games and neither of them got lower than a 4-star rating on Amazon reviews.
