HAN SOLO: A STAR WARS STORY seems to be down to its final actor list as Lucasfilm and Disney are close to their decision as to which young actor will fill the shoes of the galaxy's famous smuggler.
According to The Hollywood Reporter and Variety, the final five contenders are: Taron Egerton (Kingsman: The Secret Service), Alden Ehrenreich (Hail, Caesar!), Jack Reynor (Transformers: Age of Extinction), Jack O’Connell (Unbroken) and Blake Jenner (Everybody Wants Some!!).
This is a solid list of actors and the fan favorite to land the role is Egerton who, in Kingsman, showed he definitely has the moxie to play the tole. Although whoever lands this role should also get a chance to be signed on to also fill Ford's shoes in his other legendary role as Indiana Jones, but you can read more about that by clicking right here.
The standalone Han Solo movie is written by Lawrence Kasdan and directed by Chris Miller and Phil Lord and will tell the origin story of Han meeting his best friend Chewbacca.
HAN SOLO: A STAR WARS STORY releases on May 25, 2018.
