It doesn't matter if you saw BATMAN V. SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE or not, you should realize there are possibilities to expand on Lex Luthor and his role in the DC Extended Universe.
Unfortunately, for those who enjoyed his drastically different take on Luthor, it seems like actor Jesse Eisenberg won't be a part of JUSTICE LEAGUE, according to his comment to BusinessInsider.
“I don’t know if they are so settled on where my character goes. I only hope I have another opportunity to work with these wonderful people and play this interesting character.”
Eisenberg did say he would be thrilled to reprise his role but when that might be remains unknown to the actor as of right now. And it doesn't seem like he will make it into JUSTICE LEAGUE because production starts on April 11 and he would've been contacted by Warner Bros. by now to prepare in advance. Or maybe he's just keeping things secretive.
JUSTICE LEAGUE releases on November 17, 2017.
