Michael Keaton Reportedly Eyed For Villain Role in SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING

Marvel is certainly dominating the news cycle this week and it's not slowing down. Variety is reporting actor Michael Keaton is being targeting for a villain role in SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING. This report comes on the heels of Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios' announcement last night at CinemaCon in Las Vegas of the official title for the first solo Spider-Man movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

There is no information about which of Spider-Man's villains Keaton is being eyed for, but a rumor hit yesterday that the Vulture could have a role in this movie. But again, the whole Vulture part is most definitely rumor as of right now.

SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING will begin filming this summer so it makes sense why casting announcements and rumors are currently hitting the news wires. So far the only other actors confirmed in the next Spider-Man movie is Marisa Tomei as Aunt May and Tom Holland is Peter Parker and your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man.

SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING releases on July 7, 2017.
