Over the weekend a rumor report hit the web claiming there is some internal turmoil within the walls of Warner Bros. and DC Films. The report mostly cited creative issues when it comes to director Zack Snyder and his vision of the JUSTICE LEAGUE as well as his influence on the growing DC Extended Universe (DCEU). But there was a small note claiming AQUAMAN director James Wan was feeling the pressure and could be a bit nervous too.
And according to Wan's response on Twitter he is standing strong with the movie and there's no reason to believe he's leaving AQUAMAN.

This is Wan's slick way of saying he is definitely on board with AQUAMAN and his past quotes have shown his excitement about the fact he gets to creative sea monsters and creatures and bring them into the DCEU in AQUAMAN.
He, then, posted the following which is a sign he is committed to AQUAMAN.
Just resurfaced from been buried in a foxhole for the last two weeks, wrapping up all things #conjuring2. You guys are killing me.— James Wan (@creepypuppet) May 2, 2016
While the rumor source has shown its credibility in some of its past scoops, this is one of those times it would have been better to not include the part about Wan and AQUAMAN. Meanwhile, all the rumored stuff about execs wanting Snyder to change his tone and vision in JUSTICE LEAGUE seem spot on after MAN OF STEEL and BATMAN V. SUPERMAN did not produce as much box office cash as the studio expected them to because it's always about money and the bottom line with these big tentpole franchise films.
