Yesterday, Marvel Studios dropped a bomb of a news story confirming the main cast of actors, heroes and villains for THOR: RAGNAROK. The cast for the third Thor movie is shockingly amazing, but there was one name left off of Marvel's official press release.
Jaimie Alexander, who has played the Lady Sif in THOR and THOR: THE DARK WORLD, was not included in the announcement. Fans took to social media to voice their anger but then Alexander responded to one of the complaints on Twitter.
Don't worry ;) .... https://t.co/LvbYNWmBNa— Jaimie Alexander (@JaimieAlexander) May 20, 2016
She may not have as large of a role as she's had in the past two Thor films, perhaps due to her commitment to her TV show Blindspot, but it seems likely that Lady Sif will in fact return to help Thor, Hulk, Odin, Heimdall and Valkyrie defend Asgard from Hela, Skurge, the Grandmaster and the trickster himself, Loki.
THOR: RAGNAROK begins filming in Australia this summer and releases in theaters on November 3, 2017.
