Actor Hugh Jackman's final turn as Logan is getting ready to start filming in the coming weeks. WOLVERINE 3 will see the return of THE WOLVERINE director James Mangold back at the helm.
Reportedly cast in this movie, so far, are Sir Patrick Stewart, who will reprise his role as the older Charles Xavier, along with actors Richard E. Grant, Boyd Holbrook and Stephen Merchant, as a mad scientist, the main villain and an unknown role, respectively.
According to Variety, Eriq Lasalle (ER, Coming to America) is joining the cast in an undisclosed role, too.
Said to be loosely based on the comic book story arc 'Old Man Logan,' WOLVERINE 3 will take place in Fox's future X-Men movie universe timeline and releases on March 3, 2017.
