DC Films' Geoff Johns Says JUSTICE LEAGUE Will Not Have a Subtitle

Back in March, shortly after the release of BATMAN V. SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE, director Zack Snyder said that JUSTICE LEAGUE was just a placeholder title and the film might have a longer title / subtitle.

"Right now the working title is Justice League. Actually, I’m in that phase where I’ve been drawing logos and I’ve been drawing title treatments and stuff like that to try and figure out what it means, what Justice League is, visually, so we’ll see if the name evolves with this visual presentation."

Immediately after this quote hit the web many shared a common thought that the title of JUSTICE LEAGUE was perfect as is. Then, the rumor mill churned out several subtitles and this caused many websites to post that questionable rumor report.

Well, DC Entertainment CCO and DC Films co-head Geoff Johns took to his Twitter account to debunk these rumors.

So there you go, it's just JUSTICE LEAGUE. But in all fairness it was Snyder who helped to fuel this rumor.

JUSTICE LEAGUE releases on November 17, 2017.

Note: The Daily SuperHero does not get caught up with these wild tabloid rumors from rumormonger sites since there's a track record of being wrong more than being right. Maybe one day the fans, news outlets, sites and blogs will see this too because there is a recognizable theme of bad information coming from these places.
