From Howling Commando to High School Principle; SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING Adds Kenneth Choi

In a rare casting move for Marvel Studios, Deadline is reporting that the studio is bringing back an actor to play a different role in their Marvel Cinematic Universe. Actor Kenneth Choi previously played one of the 'Howling Commandos,' Jim Morita, in CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE FIRST AVENGER.

Choi will reportedly play the high school principle in SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING. He joins a main cast with Tom Holland as Peter Parker / Spider-Man, Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark / Iron Man, Marisa Tomei as Aunt May and Michael Keaton as an the undisclosed villain.

SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING begins filming at Pinewood Studios in Atlanta in the coming weeks, so look for an official Marvel Studios press release announcing the main cast and who they are portraying sooner than later. Or perhaps at San Diego Comic-Con next month.

SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING releases on July 7, 2017.
