According to a report by Deadline, Marvel Television will be bringing their next Netflix series LUKE CAGE to San Diego Comic-Con International 2016 next month.
With its debut on the streaming service set for September 30, it makes perfect sense for Marvel TV to hype up the new show up at SDCC. Usually, Marvel TV (based out of its Marvel New York offices) saves its television material for New York Comic Con, in October, but the series will premiere before NYCC.
Synopsis: "After a sabotaged experiment leaves him with super strength and unbreakable skin, Luke Cage becomes a fugitive trying to rebuild his life in modern day Harlem, New York City. But he is soon pulled out of the shadows and must fight a battle for the heart of his city--forcing him to confront a past he had tried to bury."
