On January 30 The Daily SuperHero tweeted out a casting suggestion to Marvel Studios president and producer Kevin Feige stating he should consider Brie Larson as a contender to be the lead, as Carol Danvers, in CAPTAIN MARVEL.

In our small little world, we will assume that our Twitter suggestion actually caught Feige's eye because now Variety is reporting that Larson is in fact the front runner to land the leading role in Marvel Studios' first female-led solo movie. A director is not yet attached, as of the publishing of this post.
CAPTAIN MARVEL is currently in development by writers Meg LeFauve and Nicole Perlman and releases is March 8, 2019.
