Sounds Like Marvel's THE PUNISHER Starts Filming For Netflix in 2017

It's been nearly two months since official word hit the news wires that Netflix picked up a full season order for the first Marvel spin-off on the streaming service. THE PUNISHER will bring back actor Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle and show him in action as the vigilante for the entire 13 episode season. Unlike in DAREDEVIL Season 2, where he didn't fully embrace being The Punisher until the final episode.

Now that he's got his own series coming Bernthal spoke to AwardsDaily.com, via io9, about THE PUNISHER.

"The Frank Castle you find in [DAREDEVIL Season 2] is not The Punisher. He’s reeling from the loss of his family. He’s driven by rage and is on a singular mission to find these people who took his family from him, and do it as brutally as possible.
"...We are going to do a show with him next year. I’m really excited about that."

In other words, you're going to get full-on brutal Punisher action in his own Netflix series which is either premiering in 2017 (unlikely) or starts shooting in 2017 (most likely).
